About Spring Tides Therapy
About me
I'm Vicki Pearson, a qualified counsellor based in Bournemouth. I work with adults, young people and couples who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected.
I offer a warm, down-to-earth and confidential space where you can talk openly without judgement. You don't need to have everything worked out before you come. We can start where you are and work things out together.
My approach
I work integratively, drawing on Gestalt, CBT, ACT, IFS and psychodynamic approaches. I tailor our work to you, helping you understand what's happening, develop practical ways of coping and make changes that feel right for you.
Neurodiversity
I have a particular interest in supporting autistic and ADHD clients, with additional training in autism and ADHD. My own experience of ADHD and being part of a neurodivergent family also gives me personal insight into some of the challenges neurodivergent people and their families can experience.
You don't need to be neurodivergent to work with me — it's one area of particular interest within my wider counselling practice.
Couples and young people
I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict or disconnection, including relationships where neurodiversity may be a factor.
I also work with young people aged 14+ experiencing anxiety, low confidence, emotional difficulties, relationship problems and neurodiversity-related challenges.
Taking the first step
You don't need to know exactly what you need from counselling. I offer a free initial consultation where you can tell me a little about what's going on, ask questions and see whether I might be the right counsellor for you.
There's no pressure to continue.
